Two of our favorite mid-winter unit bundles to pick up are the Young Royals and We Were There sets. Each is historically-themed, with multiple books that each focus on a different person and/or historic event. Young Royals focuses largely on the medieval and renaissance periods, with each book featuring a historic member of royalty during their youth, at their most transformational era. The We Were There series focuses on a wide swath of world events, ranging from the days of Caesar to just after World War 2. Both are fantastic reads, historically accurate, and teach history in a wonderfully-engaging manner!
Includes THIRTY-SIX unit studies covering World & American History. Each unit addresses a new topic, spanning the the ancient world through post-WW2. Each unit has introductory text, which will give the student basic background information about the topic at hand.
These studies are directed toward upper grades students, but some have resources for younger students so that the whole family can work together. Our family has used unit studies as curriculum for many years, and we hope that your family will enjoy these, too!
