Our son, Xander, loves the farm life! I'm sure you'll see him many times over the course of our journey here at Homeschool On the Range. If you love his work, click on the Xander tag at the bottom of this post to find more!
I really like taking pictures! I took these yesterday and then cropped them today. My mom says that I look at nature in a way that is different from a lot of people and she likes my photographs.
This weekend, we did our very first craft fair. My brother makes all of the crafts from items around our property and things he has found and re-used (like the cloth and old canvases). I made the sailboat string art by myself!!
After the craft fair, we went out in the garden where mom tilled and I took some more nature pictures...
I found this at a fall festival. It is a mind magic game made with wood and bullet casings. I am going to try and make one for my dad. These are my new chickens. The one with with afro is named Prince...and for those of you who are wondering, Prince is a rooster.
Here is my mom picking produce...even in October. We got a lot of tomatoes this year!
We have a ton of zinnias coming in right now. They are very pretty, but that's not why they are in the garden. The flowers bring lots of bees and other pollinators to help make our plants produce more.
I'm not sure who is hotter and more grumpy in these pictures....the chickens or my mom! She says the weeds grew so fast that next time she's just going to bring the lawnmower between the plants.
