Summer Fun!

Our son, Xander, loves the farm life!  I'm sure you'll see him many times over the course of our journey here at Homeschool On the Range.  If you love his work, click on the Xander tag at the bottom of this post to find more!

This is the summer harvest...mostly cucumbers, squash, and tomatoes .  I also have basil growing  but we have made a lot of pickles and tomato sauce.   It been a busy year for us!

This is my garden, and it is big, and off to the left is my cucumbers.

This is my harvest, and I am tired of seeing cucumbers and squash!
These are my cousins, and I showed them around the farm .

This is one of my turkeys.  Its name is Christmas.  I named the other turkey Thanksgiving.

Up above is a piece of a armadillo shell that I found.

This is a model I made of Dallas Fort Worth International Airport .
Sometimes my Grandma helps watch the chickens while I get to go on vacation.  This summer I went to Florida with my family and we visited Kennedy Space Center.  I like all kinds of airplanes and space stuff!  My dad and I took a bus tour and saw some stuff that people don't usually see...
...like, for instance, the Space-X facility and the Saturn 5 rocket.
We also saw the original Atlantis space shuttle and pictures of the other space shuttles.  Down below is a quote by John F. Kennedy.
