We wanted to visit Nana & Papa at their home in Arizona...so we headed West on I-40. Along the way, we saw picturesque scenery and stopped at a restaurant that serves 72 oz steaks...hence the need for the jumbo-sized cattle. Our blog and brand photo came from this trip...somewhere in Texas or New Mexico.
Phoenix in the summertime is HOT! We found some great "Old West" attractions like the Goldfield Mines and Tortilla Flat. (Word to the wise - if you get motion sickness, you may want to skip the drive to Tortilla Flat.) The Phoenix Zoo has these great little sprinklers all over the place to help beat the heat, and the camel ride is something you must experience!
